DO YOU KNOW WHO IS THE GREATEST PROBLEM SOLVER IN YOUR LIFE?

Life is, at its basic, all about problem solving. Life is one long process of problem solving – when you boil it down; and think about it, if there really is a God – which, I believe there is – then it figures, if God is the creator of all things and all-powerful as well as all-loving, then it means he is the greatest problem solver, too – the greatest problem-solver for you!

So it figures, having God in your team, or you in his team would be immensely beneficial for your life – right?

It would mean that, even if he didn’t solve all your problems in an instant, at least when you got his perspective on your problems, you could see them in a different light, which will take the sting of them away – right? And even if they were not yet solved, at least, they would be on their way to being solved when you give them to God and surrender them into his hands. In fact, the Bible tells us in Philippians 4:6-7 to surrender our worries into God’s hands, then he will send the greatest peace by the Holy Spirit, which ministers the most deepest and most profound peace even in the midst of the torment.

SO GOD IS ACTUALLY YOUR GREATEST HELPER.

You may not know this now or you may not have experienced this yet, but do you know that God wants to be your greatest helper, your greatest advocate and greatest enabler, and greatest comforter for your life?  Of course, you may not believe me, especially, if you are a non-believer; yet, even among self-professing Christians there are those who don’t have an active relationship with God the Holy Spirit, i.e. whereby they feel God’s own physical presence in the same room as them, and deep down in their hearts. Where his physical presence becomes the defining factor of the breakthrough they are looking for. Even there are actually thousands of Christians who don’t believe – theologically – that they can call upon the Holy Spirit for direct help, let alone ask him to come by his physical presence and commune with them, now, and to actually listen and reveal Christ’s will, and glorify him, and cause them to come God’s confidence. Even there are Christians who openly profess that Christians should not even address God as “Dear Holy Spirit”. Such a stance is  actually not biblical among Christians since Jesus equated the Holy Spirit with himself or “another” of himself. Jesus said,  in John 14:15-17,

“If you love me, keep my commands. 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever – 17 the Spirit of truth.” NIV Bible.

This is the passage when Jesus introduced the Holy Spirit with the Greek word, “Paraclete” which means one who comes alongside to help and represent. This is part of Jesus’ discourse to his disciples as he was preparing them for his departure in John 14:15-21 in the NIV Bible:

“If you love me, keep my commands. 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever – 17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. 18 I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. 19 Before long, the world will not see me any more, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. 20 On that day you will realise that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. 21 Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.’”

If we are to believe Jesus spoke Greek – which is highly likely given his background and the culture he lived in- then he would have used the word “Paraclete” which is what our Greek Bible says; our modern English translations say, “advocate”, “counselor” and “helper” while the King James says “comforter”(Old King James) King and by the New King James as “helper”.

SO THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL PROVE TO YOU BY EXPERIENCE, TO BE YOUR GREATEST COUNSELOR OR DEFENSE-LAWYER; AND ALSO, THE HOLY SPIRIT IS YOUR GREATEST COMFORTER, FRIEND AND HELPER.

Do you know that the Holy Spirit is not only your greatest helper and comforter but also your greatest friend? And when I say greatest friend, I mean, for example, the one friend who can open any shut door,  and close any open door for you; as well as be your most powerful friend who will prove to be your most well connected and upgrading person you know – but there’s the key – you must know him intimately – he is calling you into real friendship intimate friendship which only two of the closest friends can be – through faithful regular communion and deep relationship – not acquaintance;  it’s not acquaintance or such shallow knowing but knowing intimately.  Jesus said this as much when he said to his disciples, I no longer call you “servants” in the book of John, again, he says,

John 15:15,

“I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.”

NIV Bible.

Also, in John 15:14,

“You are my friends if you do what I command.”

NIV Bible.

So with God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit as your most powerful friend, your life will only have an upward mobile trajectory, filled with new hope, transformation and peace. You will receive and live with a perfect love and comfort who will pour out his deepest healing into your heart, faculties and body – if not immediately – soon; and remember – since the Holy Spirit is a real and physical spirit, he will send you a physical comfort and healing which will minister to your pain physically, i.e. he will begin to ease your pain – and this will not only be felt intellectually but physically deep down in your emotions ; with an unconditional and unwavering love who loves you more than anyone, even more than the most loving parents!

You may not know it now, but you will if you test this truth or theory or truth for yourself in the laboratory if your life.

And how do I do that, that for sure he will do this?

Because, think about it – if God is all-loving and all-powerful, then, if you ask him to show you that love, he is going to do that – right?

So, by first asking him to show you that he is your greatest friend. I mean, if God is all-powerful and all-knowing , and all-loving for you, then if you ask him – even with a smidgen of faith – he will do this.

But, you need to ask him to show you his power or the power of his love in action in your life. That means asking him in prayer to show you and reveal his great love for you so that you will, in time, experience his loving and perfect intervention into your life.

How do I know all this? Well it is learnt the only way you can learn such truths – in the crucible of life-experience, where you learn first-hand what is the truth.
